This three mile long, ever-popular location is made up of two lakes; the Upper and Lower Boleau; both connected by one navigable channel.
Surrounded by heavy weed growth, the water here is shallow with soft-bottomed back bays. Many areas are littered with logs and blowdowns which provide excellent habitat for large concentrations of Bigmouth Bass.
If you're thinking of visiting this location for a fishing vacation, you won't be disappointed. Six pound bucketmouth are caught on Boleau every season and it is possible to simply fish without leaving your dock. This really is Ontario bass fishing at its best!
The rustic cabin comfortably accommodates 6 in three sets of bunk beds. Dining in a large screened in porch makes for a tranquil and rustic experience. The kitchen is fully equipped; a sink with running water, propane fridge and stove in addition to cooking utensils and other necessities. A propane BBQ is provided for outdoor cooking.
